On the first of December 2004 a female called “Art of Highclass Relight My Chocolate Fire” was born to “Alisha vom Wasserschlößchen” and “Uz von der Elsteraue”, two Biewer Terriers owned by German breeders Roberto Krah and J. Lutz from Art of Highclass kennels. Little did they know that this female dog will become the first registered representative to the Biro Yorkshire Terrier breed in the world.
Mysteriously another female Biro Yorkshire terrier named “Little Princess” was born on the 14th of January 2005 in another Kennel “From the Lightning Showboy” owned by breeders Birgit Rösner and N. Polak. Her mother was Ailine von Alkotmany, daughter of the already mentioned female Alisha vom Wasserschlößchen, and the father was the same Uz von der Elsteraue.
The appearance of a new coat color interested the breeders of both Kennels, and they decided to continue breeding and strengthening this new Biro Yorkshire terrier breed.
The BIRO breed got its name from initial letters’ fusion of the names of the selectioners, who developed this breed: Birgit Rösner, “From the Lightning Showboy” Kennel, and Roberto Krah, “Art of Highclass” Kennel.
Top Coat:The entire body will be pure White with broken Brown or Chocolate or continuous Brown or Chocolate with White collar, legs, breast and abdomen without any Gold, Tan, Brown or Chocolate. Only face may have some Gold or Tan. The tail can be White or Brown or Chocolate with White tip.
Eyes:The eyes are hazel to dark in colour.
Nose:The nose is brown in colour.
